When my ex-flat mate Sir Von Arx recommended Deadmaus – Strobe to me nearly two years ago it was perhaps the accidental triggering of music battles for the remainder of my time in the house. Of course it was good and of course I’d have to find something to trump it. Bollocks.
Not long afterwards the house (‘Crotchester posse’ ) suffered an influx of more music connoisseurs and our own idiosyncratic cacophony was born.
As is traditional in “Youth Culture”, this mainly manifested itself by stealing the ‘Aux In’ at parties and pre-drinks.
“Yeah, alright. We’ll check this one out next” roughly translates as
“I’m probably not even going to listen to this track, I’m too excited about my next one”(and more importantly, what kind of Dickless WonderWhore uses green in a blog post?)
Now Strobe was a bit of a double edged sword; the steady build up serves to delay the pleasure of the climax somewhat akin to punching yourself in the bell-end to prevent a similar climax. As much as I enjoy punching myself in the bell-end I also happen to be an impatient little shit sometimes, and 10 minutes? 10 Minutes?!
Thankfully Redial reworked the shit out of it somewhat akin to reworking yourself in the bell-end to bring forwards the climax. (“Huh?”)
Anyway, let music battles re-commence. It’s been a while.
