Hot sun, bbq smoke, blue skies, singing birds, buzzing bees, bob marley songs and the smell of weed in every corner…it must be summer…..no wait, its still March, but who cares anyways? If I could let me imagination go wild, I can imagine the backyard of my house a sunny beautiful beach. I asked my housemates whether we could order a truck of sand to be dumped in our backyard, only for the image to be ruined by a friend who commented that our sand will be abused by the many neighbourhood cats and dogs for shitting around! Shit and thanks!

And speaking about the weed, the top of the street in my neighbourhood smells like a weed farm, and you can barely walk hyde park without getting high! Regardless, its probably the job of the season with this recession, let’s all give up our daily jobs and become weed dealers, there’s probably a lot of customers with this sunny weather! BUT summer is not just about smoking, drinking, and eating! It’s about loovve, and without having to link “summer lovin” song by grease, ya’ll understand the direct effect between temperature and love!

So if you are in a relationship that has lasted over a year, then good for you, you’ve survived last summer! If you are in less than 6 months relationship then hope things will work out, bcz if you haven’t seen this chart before then this is the month that most break ups happen!

But if you are really bored and sick of your partner, then it’s the perfect time to leave your bf/gf (do it gently)!

And if you are single, then it’s the time to look for those summer flings! So for all those lonley singles hoping to find joy from the summer, and to those people in hard relationships who hope the summer sun will bring them happiness;  this next song is by a Belgian artist called Selah Sue.
